Watchmaker Teach Me The Way

Writer's picture: Sam LapcevicSam Lapcevic

Watchmaker teach me the way,

The way you create time.

I compare my mind to you,

How I can create something out of nothing.

But a comparison is a thief of joy.

Just like there are two views to every window,

What's it like to be you?

To incessantly create time.

No regard for loss.

I want to give myself to you,

To remain in the present.

I don't want the past or the future.

I want to let completely loose,

Like allowing the rain to uncaringly fall on me.

We see the beauty before all things fall,

Even in nature.

The red, orange and yellow leaves,

The final present before death.

Are all things beautiful before the end?

Or does time just continue?
