The greatest contradiction of life:

The fear of being misunderstood,

Coupled with the fear of being unheard.

A voice for the voiceless.

My place in this world.

Unachievable calmness on the surface,

Vulnerable to the masses.

Is that a dream?

Masked by hidden self-belief.

First edition of a volume,

The authenticity before the sellout.

The rawness of exposure,

Synapses of solidarity.

The wires pulled by self,

No control by society’s reigns.

Teetering atop the fence,

One conscious prisoner.
